If you can't come to the library, you can call us at 650-574-6232 and we'll answer your question over the phone. Phone reference service is available anytime the library is open.

Answers By Email (eReference): Use this form to ask our reference librarians your question. The College of San Mateo Library provides this online reference service primarily for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. Please allow 48 hours for a response Monday through Thursday, and longer on Friday, weekends, and holidays. We provide answers to specific and brief factual questions such as historical facts, dates or quotations; the use of our online catalog and reference sources; and the completion of bibliographic citations.
